The quest to quilt the unquilted

I’ve been creating quilt tops for about 15 years. Some of those tops became finished quilts – usually when I wanted to give a gift, like a baby quilt. Many quilt tops languished on my shelves, mostly because I wasn’t confident that I had the skills to finish, and I didn’t want to ruin what I had created.

Earlier this year, I decided it was now or never, and began my quest to finish the unfinished, and quilt the unquilted.

So far I have finished two:

Quilt #3 is well underway – the center is done, and I’m part way through the border. Pretty sure I want to do straight lines or a grid in the remaining border area. I think I will need registration lines to pull that off – the video below explains why:
