Rescuing forgotten needlework makes me happy! This is a vintage dresser scarf. Found these at The Salvation Army – I love seeing them after they are freshly washed and pressed! Half the fun is pulling out bits and pieces from my stash to see what might go with it.
I brought back a bag of buttons from Mom’s this past weekend, and there are some great treasures here. I think they are plastic. Many are still on cards. Judging from the packaging, I think I’m looking at a collection from the 1950’s-60’s. Lots of large, chunky buttons.
