This small quilt, just 8.5” x 11”, was made as an entry for a Quilting Arts Magazine art challenge. The challenge was to create a an abstract quilt based upon a photograph. I started with this photo, taken from the lanai at Robb and Cathy’s condo in Bonita Springs:

The blue clouds in the upper corner were cut from a chiffon scarf that belonged to Lorraine Gardner.
