Considering my woven circles from Spring 2023…the first few were worked on small embroidery hoops, then I found larger knitting looms. I can really see my progress, as I didn’t initially understand how to finish the warp threads to capture all the woven strands. They are interesting as a group – I can see how a whole bunch of them together could delight the eye up close and at a distance. I’m feeling my way in the dark on these…I could study up on the “right way” but I’m having fun discovering what works and what doesn’t on my own. #circularweaving
